January -A Date with Heep Hong Society

About Heep Hong Society: Heep Hong Society provides professional care, education, training and family support services to children with developmental and learning difficulties from birth to junior secondary, through Early Education and Training Centres (EETCs), Special Child Care Centres (SCCCs), Mixed-mode Centres, Supportive Learning Project (SLP) and Healthy Kids Nursery School.

Endermology medical systems donated by Ingrid Millet Foundation used to treat children with special need

According to controlled cross-over studies conducted by the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Physiotherapy Department of Heep Hong Society on the effects of Endermotherapy on a range of passive motions in children with cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities, children receiving Endermotherapy show significant immediate results and the improvements are longer lasting than in children receiving conventional treatment. Ingrid Millet Foundation donated 3 endermology medical systems, together with training and maintenance service to three Heep Hong Society’s Special Child Care centres for children with special needs and/or developmental disorders. These systems will be used by Heep Hong’s physiotherapists to help improve the physical condition of the children in their care.

May-Aromatic Soap Family Workshop

About Fresh Fish Traders’ School: The school aims to provide high quality education to children from grassroot families.

About Mother's Choice: A community leader in changing thoughts, attitudes and policies relating to adoption, crisis pregnancies and children with special needs.


On Mother's Day eve, INGRID MILLET held an “Aromatic Soap Family Workshop” at the Fresh Fish Traders’ School where students and their parents were invited to join INGRID MILLET members volunteers. The aromatic soaps could either be purchased that day or remain in INGRID MILLET stores for charity sale, and the full proceeds were donated to “Mother’s Choice”. During the workshop, children drew Mother’s Day cards to express their gratitude to their mothers, and also wrote some cheerful words of encouragement for Mother’s Choice’s young unmarried pregnant recipients.

September: Mid-Autumn Festival of Love

Joint Organization: Tin Shui Wai Women Association Limited

About Tin Shui Wai Women Association Limited: Aiming to care for socially disadvantaged people and to promote the welfare of children, women and the elderly, the association organises various recreational activities, and also offers immediate assistance and support to accident victims going through times of hardship.

To share the happiness of Mid-Autumn Festival with the Tin Shui Wai families, Ingrid Millet Foundation Volunteer Team held the “Mid-Autumn Festival of Love” activity in collaboration with Tin Shui Wai Women Association Limited. Enjoying the festive atmosphere, participants shared stories from the Mid-Autumn Festival, played games and created hand-made holiday lanterns. Moon cakes and pears were also presented to celebrate the festival.

December: Sharing The Warmth of Christmas

Joint Organization: Caritas Cheng Shing Fung District Elderly Centre (Shamshuipo)

About the Caritas Cheng Shing Fung District Elderly Centre: A Human oriented organisation which provides community support services to the elderly and aims to socially integrate them by giving them a platform to share their life experience and expertise with those who can benefit from it.

At Christmas, Ingrid Millet Foundation volunteer team paid a special visit to the elderly residents of the Caritas Cheng Shing Fung District Elderly Centre (Shamshuipo). After a short advance briefing with the Caritas volunteers, blankets were distributed and Ingrid Millet Foundation’s team had an enjoyable chat with the residents who shared their life stories and their wisdom. Our volunteers felt privileged to be exposed to such a wide range of experience, and thankful for the in-depth insights that resulted from the conversations.

Joint Organization: Sheng Kung Hui St. Christopher's Home

About SKH St. Christopher's Home: Founded in 1935, SKH St. Christopher's Home has established a total of 24 small group homes in Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. It is the largest non-governmental organization in Hong Kong to provide small group home service for children who cannot receive adequate family care. Their mission is to create a caring environment for children and young people that fosters talents, develops potentials and generally allows them to grow into well-rounded adults.

INGRID MILLET and BIOSCREEN ORGANIC BEAUTY, under Ingrid Millet Foundation umbrella, joined the Chocolate Charity Sale organized by SKH St. Christopher's Home. The activity raised funds to help the Home carry its mission, and importantly, brought smiles on the children faces as well.

Chocolate packages were designed by local well-known illustrator, Chocolate Rain.

Joint Organization: Christian Concern for the Homeless Association

About Christian Concern for the Homeless Association: Established in 1987, the association integrates Christian values and social services to provide holistic care for homeless people, responding to their physical, psychological and spiritual needs.

Ingrid Millet Foundation and Christian Concern for the Homeless Association jointly held “Christmas Charity Campaign” to raise funds for the homeless.

Feb – Spring Festival Couplet Workshop

Joint Organization: Sheng Kung Hui St. Christopher's Home “Heart Link”

About “Heart Link”: Under SKH St. Christopher's Home, “Heart Link” provides comprehensive academic support and community services to children either newly arrived in Hong Kong and/or from low-income families, with an aim to provide a nurturing environment for them to grow up and enhance their self-confidence.

To share the happiness of the Lunar New Year, Ms. Pink Yuen, president of INGRID MILLET, and Ingrid Millet Foundation volunteer team visited “Heart Link” and held a Spring Festival Poetry Workshop to share the origins and customs of Chinese New Year, equip the children with festival poetry writing skills, and contribute to unleash their imagination and creativity.

Dec – Winter Charity Campaign

Joint Organization: The Intellectually Disabled Education and Advocacy League

About IDEAL: IDEAL was formed by a group of people with intellectual disabilities, their parents and volunteers in 1989 and was registered as a charitable organization in 1991. Sustained by the spirit of “GIVE and TAKE”, the organization actively promotes equality for people with intellectual disabilities.

The “Winter Charity Campaign” was jointly held by Ingrid Millet Foundation and IDEAL, and raised funds to promote integration of people with intellectual disabilities into society.


July - Fund-raising & Sports Fun Day

Joint Organization: Hong Kong PHAB Association

The Hong Kong PHAB (Physically Handicapped and Able-Bodied) Association was founded in 1972 to promote the integration of people with physical disabilities in society through collaborative participation in social, recreational, developmental, educational, employment and community support events.

BIOSCREEN ORGANIC BEAUTY and Hong Kong PHAB Association jointly held a fund-raising & sports Fun Day to promote active collaboration between “Physically Handicapped and Able-Bodied”. The activity raised funds to support the development of the Hong Kong PHAB Association. The joint Fun Day was a resounding success.
